Dr. Leon and Carol Threatt
OUR PASTORS
Born in Monroe, North Carolina Dr. Leon Threatt is a man of integrity who builds his life around prayer and the Word of God. Dr. Threatt grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina and after graduating high school he began his professional career in the United States Marine Corps where he served for ten years. Subsequently he joined the Charlotte Police Department where he served until June of 1996.
Dr. Threatt is a graduate of the International Bible Seminary and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theology. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Ministry and a Doctorate of Practical Theology from the Master’s School of Divinity.
Pastor Carol Threatt was born and raised in Anson County, North Carolina. She is a Proverbs 31 woman who has a heart after God’s own heart. She attended Central Piedmont Community College and holds a Certification of Cardiac Technology. She began her public career in nursing where she served for ten years. Pastor Carol also enjoyed a ten year teaching career working with kindergarten aged children.
Pastor Carol became a licensed minister of the Gospel in 1991 and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Ministry from the Master’s Divinity School.
Together, Dr. Leon and Pastor Carol minister the Word of God by the power and leading of the Holy Spirit. They are blessed with three beautiful children: Emmanuel and his wife Adrienne, Andrea and her husband Micah, Jakayla and five grandchildren; EJ, Caleb, Harmony, Micaiah and Andraus (Superman). As well as a host of spiritual children, family and friends.
